3. Smart Document Scanner

The Smart Scanner requires access to your device camera only when you explicitly open and use the scanner.

Camera permission is not requested at application startup.
The camera is activated only when scanning is requested.
The camera is stopped when the scanner is closed or the application leaves the scanner workflow.
Scanned documents are processed and exported according to the options selected by you.

4. Documents and Local Storage

When you export documents, Campus Saathi may save files to a location selected or permitted by the Android operating system.

Depending on your device and export settings, files may be stored in locations such as:

Application-specific storage

Supported formats may include PDF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, and other formats supported by the installed version of the application.

You are responsible for managing documents saved to your device and for deleting files you no longer need.

5. Academic Calculations

Features such as CGPA, SGPA, percentage, marks, attendance, and other academic calculations may process information that you enter into the app.

Where the feature is designed for local calculation, the information is processed locally and is not intentionally uploaded merely to perform the calculation.

If a future feature requires cloud storage or synchronization, the application will provide the applicable functionality and permissions before such processing occurs.

6. Temporary Files and Cache

Scanner and document-processing features may create temporary files or cached data while processing documents.

The application is designed to remove temporary files when they are no longer required. However, files explicitly exported to your device, downloaded, shared, or saved by you may remain on your device until you delete them.

Campus Saathi may provide a Campus Repository where users can submit academic resources such as notes, previous-year question papers, study materials, and other permitted educational resources.

Submitted resources may be reviewed and moderated before being made publicly available.

When submitting content, do not upload confidential personal information, government identification documents, copyrighted material that you do not have permission to distribute, or other information that should not be publicly shared.

8. College Events and Community Content

If Campus Saathi allows users or authorized contributors to submit college events or other community content, submitted information may be reviewed before publication.

We may remove content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, misleading, unauthorized, or violates applicable laws or our policies.
